Cristina Rizzuto is a writer, bibliophile, traveller, and café enthusiast. She the author of a poetry collection, The Music Makers (Blaurock Press, 2012). Her writing has appeared in The Florentine; Ottawa Literary Review; Dragnet Magazine; FEMMELDEHYDE; Best Ultra Short Poems, a Canadian poetry anthology published by the Ontario Poetry Society; and shortlisted for a literary prize on CBC Canada Writes. She is the recipient of the 2012 Mattia International Poetry Award and the 2012 City of Vaughan RAVE Award – Rising Star in the Literary Arts. She serves on the Board of Directors for the La Rocca Memorial Society, and is a member of CWILA and the AICW. Cristina is a 2014 Artist-in-Residence at La Macina di San Cresci in Chianti, Italy.
