My first poetry collection, The Music Makers was published by Blaurock Press in 2012. Further writing has appeared in The Florentine; Lantern MagazineOttawa Arts Review; WattpadBest Ultra Short Poems, a poetry anthology published by the Ontario Poetry Society; Love, Anonymous, an anthology published by CWILA (Canadian Women in the Literary Arts); Dragnet Magazine; FEMMELDEHYDE; and shortlisted for a literary prize on CBC Canada Writes. I am honoured to have received the 2012 Mattia International Poetry Award, and the City of Vaughan RAVE Award – Rising Star in the Literary Arts. In 2014, I was a Writer-in-Residence at La Macina di San Cresci in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. Most recently, I was as a Reading Panelist, and contributing writer, for the Vaughan Poetry Map, which was awarded Ministry of Tourism Sport & Culture Award for Innovation. I have a passion for community service and development, travel, politics and global affairs, languages, and learning.
